Designs and Ideas...

Hello! As I said in my last blog post, I am in love with nails, so a while ago I decided to purchase some plain false nails and practice some designs. I started off with fairly basic designs and have now done some more advanced ones. I have done over 50 designs now so thought I would share some with you!

Some of the first designs I did, just a simple faded effect with a coating of silver glitter on the top

Some more of my early designs, going for a spotty theme here haha, just a simple black and white polka dot, and white with various bright polka dots, and a mint green with black and white polka dots!

Slightly more advanced designs, the first on is just a multicoloured base with black croc effect nail varnish over the top, the middle one is just a simple cow print design and the last one is a beautiful, shiny blue with the Greek eye pattern

Again, more advanced designs, pretty, pink, dotty and glittery patchwork effect design, a multicoloured water-marble effect design, and a orange/coral leopard print design
Some of my newest designs, my summery ones, a cute ladybird, pretty blue base with white flowers in the corners and a summery, bright watermelon design.

A lot of my nail art products I buy from eBay because it is just so cheap and often the products are decent quality. To do some of the smaller trickier bits on my designs I either use, nail brushes or nail art pens, I buy these from eBay because they are such a reasonable price that you just can't go wrong. I have bought some of my favourite nail products from eBay and I am so so happy with them!

These are the nail brushes that I use mainly for detail on my nail designs. I purchased these from eBay a few weeks ago, I thought that the price of these was really reasonable and the quality of the brushes is so good. I got these 15 brushed for around £3.99 I think and I am very pleased with them and use them all the time!

Finally, these are the nail art pens that I use, these are also from eBay and they are brilliant for small detail as they are two-ended and have a nozzle type thing for accuracy so you can just squeeze the bottle and the paint comes out of the nozzle, they also have a fine bristled brush which are also really nice and easy to use. These 12 pens cost me £5.29 from eBay and I am also very pleased with these!
My love for nail art is slightly ridiculous and my collection of nail products is slowly growing larger and larger, and is way bigger than it needs to be! But it is something that I really enjoy doing and I love sharing it with you!

Nail Favourites...

Hello! If you are reading this you may notice that I am new to blogging. I have a huge interest in fashion and beauty so I thought I would start a blog to share this interest with everyone! I have a slight obsession with all things nails, whether it's a plain old nail varnish or something full of glitter and pretty bits! So I though I would base my first blog post on my favourite nail varnish's!

From left to right the colours are "Limited edition Black Glittery", "Black Croc Effect", "Matt White", "Dragon", "Berry Ice Cream", "Sour Apple", "Limited Edition Neon Green", "Limited Edition Neon Pink", "Kingsland Road", "Station Road" and "Atlantic Road".

As you may notice, my favourite nail varnish brand is BarryM! I tend to use BarryM more than any other type of nail varnish since it is really good quality and it isn't too pricey. Also BarryM do some gorgeous colours and different effects. In the photo above, the three nail varnishes "Kingland Road", "Station Road" and "Atlantic Road" are all textured nail varnishes and they leave a bumpy, almost gritty, finish which I personally quite like. I also like the "Gelly, Hi Shine" range from BarryM which creates a really glossy and smooth finish.
Most BarryM nail varnishes only cost £3.99, which, for the quality of them, isn't bad at all!
